Chris here. I live in Napa and work for a national publication in wine journalism. After more than twenty years in the hospitality industry as a sommelier and wine director, I pivoted my career to wine journalism in 2023. An opportunity to write came with the role.

That brings me back to school after more than a decade. I am at Solano College to write for The Solano Pulse in order to further educate myself. It is never too late to go to school. And, honestly, it is great to be back on a campus with fellow students.

I love wine, of course. Learning about and tasting wine is a huge part of my life. I am always willing to chat at length about the topic. I also love sports, music and exercise.

My most important role, however, is Daddy. I am the proud father of a nine year old boy. You can catch us at his soccer tournaments, on the golf course, at a bowling alley or hooping in our driveway.
