Are you a writer obsessed with poetry? Are you an artist or photographer who yearns to get your work out there? Are you someone with zero clue on how to do it?
Suisun Valley Review is currently accepting submissions for poetry, prose (short fiction), photography, and visual arts! Located right here on Solano Campus, you can find their dragonfruit-themed fliers with instructions on how to submit, including a QR code and guidelines.
You can share upwards of seven pieces (artwork seemingly does not have a limit), with the deadline being March 24th. Art is definitely the desired work right now, which could be your chance to create the 42nd edition’s cover! On top of that, Suisun Valley Review offers the Quinton Duval Award, which could certainly rise you to the top of Solano fame!
If you win, you’re given two free copies of the physical magazine (per piece that wins), and you’ll be invited to share the poem at the book release in May. Prominent figures usually attend, and just like the editors, it’s right here on campus!
So what are you waiting for? Gamble your chances, and plant a stake in the writing world today!
For a quick and easy process, follow these instructions:
- Go to suisunvalleyreview.submittable.com/submit
- Choose whether you’re submitting to fiction/prose, poetry, or visual arts
- Pay the $2.00 fee and follow the submission instructions (If you can’t afford the price, just email to [email protected])
Make sure your submissions are anonymous, meaning no mentions of your name in the docs or PDFs themselves.
Have fun submitting!
