Kali Uchis is known for her signature soft voice and lyrics that capture beauty in life, tragedy, and love. Her melodies are catchy and sweet, almost as if flowers were to bloom in her singing presence. Kali enchants her audience with her floral beauty the second she sets foot on stage.
On May 9th, 2025 Kali Uchis released her 5th studio album called “Sincerely”. Giving the aesthetic of a floral fairy. In this album, Kali sings about her newborn baby, partner, mother, and her emotions throughout her life.
Therefore, I will be giving my opinionated review about this album. For full disclaimer, I’m not speaking on everyone’s behalf but my own. I hope you guys enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it.
Heaven Is A Home – On this track I believe it represented Kali’s best vocals. Her vocals were enchanting and hypnotizing. She talks about her faith and how she has found peace in her life, questioning if this world could ever be her home. Concluding that at the end of it all “Heaven Is A Home.”

Sugar! Honey! Love! – A classical track. With melodies that are almost bubbles. This song is about the betrayals she has suffered in the past. Questioning who she can trust and how she can move forward.

Lose My Cool – A slow but classic track that captures the audience’s attention with her melodic vocal bubbles. While singing a song that portrays her trying to keep her cool. Not letting her emotions get the best of her and keeping herself collected.

It’s Just Us – A simple and sweet song written for her lover, Don Toliver. A descriptive love story on how she felt meeting him. Describing him as “heaven on earth”.

For: You – A catchy and sweet song. Her vocals along with the instruments played blend in like music heaven. This song is about how she would do anything for her lover, but still being afraid of being betrayed and hurt.

Silk Lingerie, – A slow and steady song with fewer instruments than the others. In her lyrics, she sings, “How did you fall for someone complicated and flawed as me ?” Capturing the whole song is about how she feels that she is too complicated for someone to love her.

Territorial – A different melody yet so similar as the others. In this song she sings about she doesn’t care about being the villain in anyone’s story because she knows they all are playing victim. A simple if you hurt i’ll hurt you scenario.

Fall Apart – A pretty song about love and how her fiancé loves her in every circumstance, no matter what she looks like. The goal is to portray how her fiancé loves her for her mind and heart.

All I Can Say – Now this song is different from the rest of the tracks off this album. It sounds like a 1960s melody with lyrics that blend in ethereally. In this song, she sings about peace of mind and her beautiful heart. While explaining that she doesn’t care who thinks otherwise.

Daggers! – Very similar to “All I Can Say” . The background music is the same, the only changes are the lyrics. The lyrics specify how she sees a girl being treated horribly by a man. She tells her to leave but she won’t.

Angels All Around Me… – Peace, love, and faith are what it is all about. How angels are watching over her. While singing with a soft, melodic melody.

Breeze! – Meaning to let love and life be as easy as a “Breeze”. She sings this song with a different tone. Instead of being fully slow, it picks up a little with the chorus.

Sunshine & Rain… – One of Kali’s popular songs in this album. With her sweet melody but catchy tone. This song is about how things happen in life. Even in the bad times, we must remember that there is “Sunshine & Rain.

ILYSMH – In translation, “ I love you so much it hurts,” is dedicated to her newborn baby. Mainly, how she loves him to the point it hurts. This song describes the beauty in motherhood. She sings this with so much passion and love that the melodies all bloom in only one listen.

This album is in floral bloom, maintaining a ethereal and enchanting vibe to listen to. It creates a sense of peace, love and faith in humanity. Kali Uchis has done it again with her hypnotizing voice that will carry on for the rest of her life. I give this beautiful Album an overall review an 8/10.
